Introducing Savannah Matthews
Savannah Matthews is an emerging artist practicing on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja in Boorloo. Within her work, she heavily explores themes of femininity, identity, and perspective, through mediums such as water colour, collage, oil paint and embroidery. Savannah’s latest series ‘Eternal Bloodshed 2022’, explores and celebrates the female experience whilst exposing ongoing discrimination and hardships still faced by women today. Her series aims to empower and validate women’s experiences whilst creating a new positive representation.
